Kimberly A. Skalski, CPA is CEO of Skalski CPAs, LLC, an accounting and tax firm that serves clients throughout the Southeast in the following ways:
Tax preparation services for individuals, small businesses, corporations, real estate partnerships/LLCs, estates and trusts, and not-for-profit organizations
Accounting and management advisory services for small businesses
Profit-sharing plan administration
Personal financial and retirement planning
IRS communications and tax audit representation
Kim is a Certified Public Accountant, Georgia (2005) and Florida (1983), and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Georgia Society of CPAs.
Her career spans over thirty years, the first portion of which was in Florida. There, she was a Tax Specialist for several local CPA firms in Pinellas County as well as a Controller for both a chain of dental centers in Florida and a high-tech company in Maryland. She then practiced for ten years as a principal of Skalski & Clark, CPAs.
In 2005, Kim moved to Georgia and spent the next ten years with the CPA firm of Large & Gilbert P.C., where she was Tax and Profit Sharing Manager. She opened Skalski CPAs, LLC in 2015.
Kim is a native of Florida and a graduate of Florida Southern College, where she earned her Bachelor of Science. She is married to Joe Skalski, a fellow CPA and Georgia and Florida attorney, who is the owner of Skalski Law Firm, LLC and president of Asset Strategists, LLC, a strategic consulting firm. Her hobbies include travel, bowling, and raising a calico and a pug.
Dorte H. Bieber, CPA
Dorte is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Georgia and New York and is a member in good standing of the American Institute of CPAs and the Georgia Society of CPAs. Her career spans over 25 years, beginning in New York City and Stamford, CT, and then moving to Atlanta in 1995 where she enjoyed working for Ernst & Young (EY). After starting a family, Dorte moved to the boutique accounting and tax firm of Donner, Weiser & Associates, which later merged with Aarons, Grant & Habif in 2010, which then merged with Carr Riggs and Ingram in 2017. She has long prioritized work and family balance while continuing to assist clients with focus and attention on their accounting and tax needs. She joined Skalski CPAs LLC in late 2018.
Dorte has represented various clients large and small for over 25 years. Her years of public accounting experience began in audit and have evolved to a concentration in taxation. Dorte's specialty is assisting taxpayers, both businesses and individuals, through tax compliance as well as the complex mazes of tax audits and tax notices, working to ensure taxpayers are fairly represented. Her experience in everything from tax planning to offering clients expert consultation in areas tax audit representation, ensures her clients receive top notch guidance with every aspect of their tax compliance and planning needs and wants.
Dorte was born in Denmark and raised in Wisconsin and is a dual citizen of both the U.S. and Denmark (a member of the European Union). She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where she met her husband, David. Dorte's career began in New York and expanded to Atlanta, GA, where she raised her three sons, with David. Dorte enjoys traveling, music, theater, comedy, and most of all, time with family and friends.
